ABOUT ALDERLINE
A clearer way to approach digital work.
Alderline Digital was built around a simple idea: businesses should be recommended the digital work that genuinely helps, not pushed into oversized bundles because those bundles are convenient to sell.
The goal is straightforward: understand the business, identify the most relevant opportunities, define the work clearly, and execute it well.
WHY ALDERLINE EXISTS
Useful work should be easier to justify.
Small businesses can lose time and money when digital work becomes a collection of tactics instead of a response to a real business problem. Alderline is designed to work the other way around.
The starting point is what is actually happening: where customers find the business, what they see, what they understand, where they hesitate, and which improvements are most likely to matter.
That can lead to a website project, search work, conversion improvements, strategy, or a combination. It does not need to lead to everything.
01
Relevant
Recommend work tied to the actual opportunity.
02
Clear
Define scope, priorities, and expectations before execution.
03
Useful
Judge recommendations by business value, not by the size of the service list.
FOUNDER
Mitchell H
Founder, Alderline Digital
Born and raised in Alberta, Mitchell's background combines web design, business studies, hands-on digital experimentation, and firsthand exposure to the operational side of trades businesses.
He has 5+ years of web-design experience and Bachelor of Commerce studies at the University of Calgary. Four summer internships inside a trades business showed him how commercial and residential work gets quoted, scheduled, and paid for. He works with AI daily and builds it into the work: sites structured so AI search tools can read and surface them, with AI-assisted research, development, and automation behind every build.
Mitchell's SEO work covers everything from site structure and page content to showing up in local search. It comes from a lot of research into how search actually works, not surface-level checklists. He also has experience running paid ad campaigns, so he treats search as one part of a funnel rather than a number on its own.
Those experiences helped shape Alderline around three priorities: conversion performance, visual quality, and business value.
HOW ALDERLINE WORKS
Straightforward where it should be.
01
Focused communication
Use organized communication and focused conversations rather than adding meetings that do not improve the work.
02
Useful recommendations
Alderline is willing to recommend against work that does not appear necessary or justified.
03
Clear expectations
Scope the engagement around defined priorities, deliverables, responsibilities, and expectations.
The relationship should be straightforward, positive, and mutually beneficial.
